Google just changed it's search algorithm to punish websites that copy 'canned' content or publish 'shallow' blog posts only to rise higher in search engines.

"It's good that Google is cracking down on poor quality content." This has always been the case. I think the problem is more of Google not being able to manage the entirety of the internet for obvious reasons, such as lack of manpower.
