In this case, it was a Facebook Ad, but this applies to any persuasive message. I wrote a long ad (about 2 pages) for Facebook. The client said, "No! Frank, it's too long. It won't work and write a shorter one." So, I wrote a shorter ad. We ran both ads at the same time. The longer ad generated nearly 500 clicks while the shorter ad only generated 38. What made the difference? It’s because the more informative the advertising the better results - and - people love marketing so good they would pay money to receive it.
