Jerimiah Taylor is the recruiter for a Keller Williams real estate office in Del Mar, CA. He grew his office from 317 to 420 agents last year selling a total of $1.1 billion in real estate. 

“I talk to 600 agents a year and have 7,000 agents in my database. It was difficult to stay in touch with all these people so I started sending coaching videos to my database,” says Jerimiah.

He works full time as a recruiter in California while owning a real estate team in Tucson. His real estate team sold 110 homes last year without him there!

Jerimiah still communicates with his real estate database with video in Tuscon while living in San Diego which allows his team to have targeted lead follow up.

John: You have been getting some decent results when using the Vyral Marketing program, correct?

Jerimiah: With my team, what we are seeing is that the level of engagement with our database has gone up. Every time we send out a post, you guys send us an open and click report, telling us who to follow up with. That's been really valuable. We definitely have picked up some business that I don't think we would have gotten if we weren't doing something like this. The magic in what you guys do is with my coach, Leah, and keeping me consistent with getting content out.

John: What about on the coaching side?

Jerimiah: As a team leader, we do 40-60 appointments every single month and when you're meeting with that many agents, you're only going to hire 10-20 of them. John: Are you doing anything to measure your ROI?

Jerimiah: It's not like an internet lead, so I can't take them through a tree or anything. It's tough to measure the ROI, but on my team we can see what business we did on our database from this year vs last year. We've also had a big uptick in the percentage of leads that come through our in-house real estate school. Last night we had our first career night, with a dozen people there. Normally we only have two or three, but one of the things that they mentioned that brought them there was our videos. There is a definite ROI, enough to continue doing it.

John: Why did you start to work with Vyral Marketing in the first place?

Jerimiah: When Scott and Frank moved out here to San Diego, they rented some office space from us so it was really by happenstance that I met you guys and learned about what you did. I also saw a need. When I'm a team leader going on all these recruiting appointments, somebody has to follow up with them. The thing that was really exciting for me was the engagement metrics on the emails, which lets us know who is interested. It's also a built-in retention tool for my agents.

John: Was there ever any though of doing something like this yourself?

Jerimiah: Yeah, but for what you guys do and the price you charge it's more than affordable. I can post something on a blog, it's not about that. What you guys do isn't that hard, the magic to what you do is that when I miss a video, my coach is giving me topics coaching me how to create it and making sure I stay on schedule. All the little things we know we should do as agents and team leaders, you guys make sure it gets done.

John: Did you have fears before signings up?

Jerimiah: Yeah all the normal fears everyone has. About if this is going to work, what do I say, how will I look on camera. Consistency matters and that's what you guys solve.

John: Would you say consistency and accountability are the things you like most about working with us?

Jerimiah: For me, yes. I'm busy, I've got a lot going on and I like that you guys keep me consistent and accountable with getting videos out to our database.

John: What would you say to somebody on the fence about hiring Vyral Marketing?

Jerimiah: First I would ask them why? Even if you have a dedicated staff position on your team for marketing, this program can still be used as leverage. You have to look at this as an investment. If you end up netting a few extra deals that you may have lost by not being engaged with your database, the ROI goes through the roof.

John: You've been successful working with us. What tips would you give to others looking to have the same success you have had?

Jerimiah: The biggest thing that has made us successful is that we crank out the videos. A big tip is not to do one video at a time. Do 6, 7,8 at a time. The more you can do in one setting, the more your time gets leveraged. Then I know when I'm supposed to do more and can block that time out.

John: Anything else you want to add?
