Frank’s Notes: I got the footage and audio back from Jeff this week, and to be honest, we can’t use any of it. Jeff and his assistant Lauren learned how challenging it is to shoot quality video! I show you the raw audio and video Jeff sent in inside Abode Premiere today. I decided they need to hire a part time video person. Lauren, Jeff’s assistant, joined me about 30 minutes into the call and she agrees. She said shooting the video on-site was a good experience, but now they really see the value of someone focused on this to help them shoot a great video. “It’s harder than it looks”, she said. (This is why we start all our clients at Vyral Marketing on a simple webcam at their desk!) I put a job ad up on Indeed.com with a $50 budget for one month in Ocean City for a part time video intern for $20 an hour. We’re going to invite all the applicants to a group Zoom meeting to explain the position, and then whoever is interested will shoot one simple video with Jeff in his office for an audition. After the audition, Jeff will pick the person he wants to work with to help record and edit his weekly videos. I can’t see the need for this person to work more than 10 hours a week, so the total budget for labor will be about $800 month plus payroll tax if Jeff hires them as a W2 employee. The assignment this week is to start the process to hire a video person to help Jeff with his weekly videos. Here is the Indeed.com job ad:

Job Description - I’m a local Realtor in Ocean City, NJ and I’m looking to hire a video person who can help me once a week to shoot a short video about what’s going on in local real estate, on how our company works, and interviews with local people in the community.
I have all the content ready to go - I will be prepared for you.
You’ll meet me on-site in Ocean City where I’ll record the "A-Roll" with you and then I’ll let you gather "B-Roll" to make a more interesting video.
You’ll be responsible for recording the video with me, including editing it.
I’m happy to pay $20 an hour for your time.
Each week you’ll need an hour or two with me for recording, and another 2-3 hours in editing.
You’re welcome to use your own equipment. If you don’t have any equipment, no problem, you can use my iPhone and gimble (DJI Osmo Mobile) for stabilization.
I’ll need help with a solid audio solution.
