FRANK’S NOTESToday was a great day – Jeff hired Matt his long-term video person! On the meeting today, we discuss strategy on how again to shoot Jeff’s new weekly videos. We decided to keep using his mobile phone and the DJI Osmo Mobile Stabilizer. However, we’ll now add in the Rode Link for the audio solution. With wireless audio, his video person can listen to the audio as he records it to make sure there are no mistakes that ruin the shoot. We decided to keep the equipment simple so Jeff’s agents, someday, in their expansion markets can model what he does without much expense. It should take Jeff about an hour to shoot each video, and Matt – his video professional – will streamline the editing where it will take no more than two hours to get a video through post-production. I will turn off the Indeed job ad today since we no longer are going to hire a video intern, rather Jeff has decided to hire a true professional to get the work done. Good move Jeff! Now, I can focus with Jeff on the optimization and promotion of the video to get business.

Jeff’s assignment this week is to:

  • Reshoot his first video with Matt his video person
  • Get more video and photos for the B-Roll necessary for his sizzle reels to introduce each show; add the assets to his Google Drive that is shared with me
