Reduce Your Marketing Costs with Vendor Money

Clients and friends,

I was working with a client this week on signing up local businesses to give them money to pay for their marketing expenses.

They specifically wanted to zero-cost their Vyral Marketing so they didn't have to worry about the fixed expense on variable commission income. 

I think we can all relate to that stress.

The initial goal was to raise just $550 a month from one local business.

You would include them in a few of your videos, provide a gift certificate to their business at closings, put an ad for them on your video blog, in your emails, and more.

Ideally, we wanted a local financial advisor who needs to get in front of affluent down-sizers cashing out equity for their approaching retirement.

This is a very big and profitable target market for the financial advisor industry.

Financial advisors pay about $3,000 on average to get a client - the lifetime value is considerable; most take a percentage of the money they manage.

I'm sure they would be happy to co-brand with your seller workshops (now webinars), videos, and other content you create to reach (gasp!) homeowners thinking of selling.

A lot of these local professionals are not as marketing savvy as you. They rely on face-to-face meetings and networking events to get their business, which has dried up with COVID. 

They are desperate to set up new ways to get customers.

They would love to strategically partner with a well connected agent like yourself to get in front of your database of homeowners and people looking to buy or sell a home.

You can add real estate investors, property managers, day cares, car dealerships, furniture stores, landscapers, dentists, solar companies, and more to that list. 

Below is the Facebook post I asked our client to write, and the corresponding email to send to their database to drum up interest from all local businesses.

I wanted to share it with you too if you're thinking about getting your vendor program in place to zero-cost your marketing. 

Send it out; watch - you'll get slammed with local business owners (who look up to you as a salesperson and marketing expert) who would love to co-advertise with you.

When you include them in your Vyral Marketing - and introduce them to your clients - they will gladly pay you for the exposure.

Remember, when you sell a home you make a lot of people money. There's a long list of businesses who will pay you for the privilege of getting introduced to your clients.
