I’ve made my entire living listing luxury real estate in Chicago. The reality is it takes about the same amount of work to get a luxury client, but the commission earned for your work is so much greater.
The key is getting those luxury listing appointments in the first place. It’s about picking an upscale target market, proper luxury positioning, having a luxury plan of action, and deep market competence of what’s listed for sale. It’s all about demonstrating your knowledge to an affluent and educated seller. I want to show you how I do it so you can model my approach that works.
Here is my 3 step luxury listing marketing plan:

I build a permission-based list of luxury homeowners who want me to stay in touch with them about possibly selling at some point in the future

I send them helpful videos and call to actions about what’s going on in luxury real estate and make sure I answer commonly asked questions

I call the people who are engaging with my videos and emails to see if they want to talk about selling their home and arrive with a strong luxury listing presentation
