I want to introduce you to Steve Lamothe from Sacramento, who will be joining us at the mastermind in San Diego.

Steve has built his business around listings. He’s very good at creating programs that solve specific problems for sellers, which gets them to raise their hand and choose him. He offers three main programs – a renovation option to fix the home up before it goes on the market, a buy-before-you-sell program so sellers can move without a contingency, and a guaranteed cash offer for those who want certainty.

He’s been running these programs for over eight years, and about 85% of his sellers now choose the renovation option. That program has helped him steadily raise his fees. Over the past two years, his average listing commission has gone up by a full percent. Today he averages just over 4% on his listings.

His team closes about 100 listings a year. Year to date he’s done over $60 million in volume and $1.55 million in GCI, with plans to finish around $2 million this year.
